Circuit Description
This IC based Timer automatically cuts off the power supply using IC 555 timer. It works as a monostable timer. When the switch is put on, the timer output is high for a pre adjustable time. This output is used to control the electrical appliances with the help of relay driver circuit. When output of IC is low the connected appliance will gets off.

1. Push to on switch
2. Capacitor C1 and C2- 1000µF/25v
3. Resistance R2- 1kΩ and R3- 10kΩ
4. IC 555 Timer
5. Diode D1- 1N 4001
6. LED
7. Transformer Q1 12v/250mA
8. Transistor T1 - BC 187
9. Relay - 6V DC Reed relay
10. Variable resistance- VR1-100kΩ
